Vale started as a Sunday-night script. One of us kept a plain-text file called this-week.txt, and every Monday it beat the fancy tools – because it was small, honest, and quiet.
Most productivity software competes for your attention. We think the job is the opposite: hold the plan, guard the focus, and get out of the way. Every feature ships only if it removes noise – a notification, a meeting, a decision you didn’t need to make.
We’re a small, remote team of nine, profitable since year one, and in no hurry. Vale will still be here – and still quiet – in a decade.
